AI Search Optimization for Accountants
HaloSEO connects to your website, researches the phrases your clients type, writes and publishes posts, links them up and builds backlinks. It also measures whether AI assistants name your firm when asked the questions your clients ask.
The phrases your clients search, not the ones the trade uses
Accountants tend to write for each other. The pages say self assessment, statutory accounts, corporation tax return, MTD. Real clients type different things. They type how much can I earn before I pay tax, do I need to register as self employed, can I claim my laptop as an expense, when is the tax return deadline, do I need an accountant for a small limited company. HaloSEO researches those phrases and writes for them. The trade words still appear, but they are not the whole page. The opening lines answer the plain question first, because that is the part an assistant is most likely to read and repeat.
A worked example
Take the question can I claim my work boots as an expense. The post opens with the answer in two lines, then explains when the answer changes, then says what records to keep. It links to your page on expenses and to your contact page. It is written for a sole trader, not for a tax inspector. The same pattern covers do I need to register for VAT, what counts as a business mile, and how long do I keep receipts. Each post answers one question a client would actually ask, in the words they would use.
What local intent means for accountants
Most accounting searches carry a place. People type accountant near me, bookkeeper in a named town, self assessment accountant followed by their area. They are looking for someone they can sit in front of, or at least someone who knows their local rules and rates. So the pages need the town and the surrounding areas named in plain text, not buried in a footer. The service needs to be named next to the place. HaloSEO writes those pages and links them together, so a page about payroll in one town points to the payroll service page and to the contact page. It cannot make an assistant recommend you. It can make sure the answer is on your site, in the words people use, with the place attached.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for a firm that wants a guaranteed position on Google or a named spot in an AI answer. Nobody can promise that, and HaloSEO does not. It is not right for a firm with no website, or one that cannot publish new pages. It is not right for someone who wants a writer to hand posts to, because this publishes rather than drafts. It is not right for a firm that will not review what goes out under its name. And it is not right for anyone who needs results by a fixed date. We measure what assistants say and which sources they cite, and we report that. We do not control the answer.
