AI Consultancies

AI Search Optimization for AI Consultancies

AI consultancies sell judgement, and buyers now ask assistants for that judgement before they ever visit a website. HaloSEO writes the pages those assistants read and then checks whether your business gets named.

The phrases your buyers type, not the ones the trade uses

Consultancies describe themselves with words like transformation, enablement and maturity. Buyers rarely search those words. They search the problem. They ask whether they should build an AI feature or buy one, how to stop a model making things up in front of customers, what a pilot should cost, and whether they need a data team before they start. They search by role too: a head of operations looking for someone to audit a vendor's claims, a founder asking if AI can cut a support queue. HaloSEO researches those phrases from what people actually type and ask, then writes pages that answer them in the opening lines. The trade vocabulary still appears, but it sits further down the page where it belongs.

A worked example

Take the question: do we need a data team before we start an AI project. The post opens with the answer in two sentences. Most teams do not need a dedicated data team to run a first project, but they do need one person who owns the data and can say where it lives. The rest of the post explains what that person does, what breaks when nobody owns it, and how to tell whether your data is ready for a pilot. It ends with the questions a buyer should ask any consultancy before signing, including yours. The page is written to be quoted, not skimmed, and it links to related posts on scoping a pilot and auditing a vendor's claims.

What local intent means here

AI consultancy is sold remotely, so local intent is thinner than it is for a plumber. It is not absent. Buyers still search for an AI consultant in their city, partly because procurement prefers a supplier they can meet, and partly because some sectors expect it. They also search by region when regulation or industry shape the work, such as a consultancy near a financial centre or one that knows local data rules. HaloSEO writes pages for those searches where they are real, and does not manufacture city pages for places you do not serve. A thin page for a city you have never worked in helps nobody and reads as filler.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for a consultancy that wants guaranteed rankings or a fixed number of leads by a fixed date. HaloSEO cannot promise a position, a traffic figure or a timeline, because nobody controls search engines or the assistants that read them. It is not right for a business with no website, or one that cannot say plainly what it sells and to whom, because the writing starts from that. It is not right for a firm that wants to submit its site to an assistant or pay to be cited. HaloSEO cannot make an assistant cite anybody and does not submit anything to an assistant. It measures whether assistants name you when asked the questions your customers ask, and records the sources they cite. That is a measurement, not a lever.
