Exhibit A
Bankruptcy Lawyers work in Las Cruces
Las Cruces is a city of around 111,000 people and the seat of Doña Ana County, and the bankruptcy work here follows the local economy. Filings in the district run through the federal court in Las Cruces, and the searches come from households carrying medical debt, credit card balances and the kind of income swings that come with southern New Mexico employment. A modest number of firms and solo practitioners in the city market themselves for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13, and the paid search on those terms is contested by consumer law firms and by lead generation companies buying ads against the same phrases. Owner operated practices hold most of the local visibility, with a few regional firms advertising into the market from El Paso and Albuquerque. The demand is steady rather than seasonal at the top level, and it concentrates on a small set of phrases people type when they have already decided to look for help.
