Exhibit A
Bankruptcy Lawyers work in Portland
Portland carries a steady stream of bankruptcy searches through the year. Filings move with the local job picture, with rent and mortgage pressure, and with the medical debt that builds up quietly before anyone calls a lawyer. The firms competing for that demand are mostly small practices and solo attorneys working out of downtown, the east side and the suburbs, plus a handful of consumer law offices that advertise across the metro. Paid search in this trade is expensive per click because a single Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 client is worth a lot to a practice, so the firms with ad budgets hold the top of the paid results while the organic results stay open to whoever publishes consistently. That organic space is where a Portland practice can build a position that does not reset every time an ad budget changes.
