Bars work in Indianapolis
Indianapolis has drinking demand spread across a wide map. Downtown and the near north side carry the office and convention crowd, Broad Ripple and Fountain Square carry the neighbourhood and late night trade, and the outlying townships carry the sports bar and family restaurant trade. The bars competing for attention here run from single owner operators on a corner to small local groups with a handful of rooms, and the paid search around the trade is mostly bought by the larger groups and by the chains that sit along the main roads. That leaves a lot of specific searches, for a neighbourhood, a drink, a night, a game, going to whoever has a page that answers them.
