Bars work in Pueblo
Pueblo drinkers search the way people search in most mid sized cities: by neighbourhood, by night, by what is happening that week. The demand is steady and it is local. People look for a bar near the Riverwalk, a place open late on Union Avenue, somewhere to watch the game, a patio on a warm evening. Pueblo has a compact downtown and a spread of neighbourhood bars across the south and east sides, so the searches split between the centre and the surrounding districts. The bars competing for that attention are mostly owner operated places with one or two rooms, alongside the brewery and taproom trade that has grown around the downtown core. Paid search in this category is modest, which means the organic results carry most of the weight when somebody is deciding where to go.
