Bed and Breakfasts

SEO Images for Bed and Breakfasts

Images are often the last thing a small B and B gets round to. HaloSEO writes the alt text, sizes and compresses the file, and names it after the post, so the pictures on your site do some work.

The phrases your guests actually type

People looking for a bed and breakfast rarely use the words the trade uses. They type things like bed and breakfast near the coast with parking, or a room for two nights with breakfast included, or dog friendly b and b with a garden. They search by town, by landmark, by station, by whether they can bring the dog. They do not search for a boutique guest house with a curated breakfast offering. HaloSEO researches the phrases real guests use and writes posts around those, not around the language on your brochure.

A worked example

Say you run a bed and breakfast in a town with a racecourse and a river walk. HaloSEO might publish a post about staying two nights for a race meeting, covering parking, an early breakfast and the walk into town. The images in that post get alt text written from what is actually in each picture, such as a double room with a bay window and a view of the river, or a full breakfast plate on a wooden table. The file is sized and compressed, and named after the post. The keyword is not repeated as alt text. That is the whole point: the alt text describes the picture, and the post carries the phrase.

What local intent means here

For a bed and breakfast, local intent is narrow and practical. Someone is choosing a place to sleep for one or two nights, and the decision turns on distance to something: the venue, the station, the beach, the wedding, the hospital, the showground. They want to know about parking, check in times, whether breakfast is included and whether the walk to town is flat. A post that answers those questions for your specific town can match what they are looking for. A generic page about hospitality cannot. HaloSEO builds the posts around the places and journeys your guests are actually searching for.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want a guarantee of a position on Google or a date when traffic will arrive. We do not control search engines and we will not promise either. It is not right for you if you want a tool that only writes text and leaves the publishing, the internal links and the backlinks to you. It is not right for a business with no website to connect, or one that cannot say what makes it different from the B and B down the road. And it is not right if you want your keyword repeated in every alt text. We write alt text from the picture instead.
