Exhibit A
Bookkeepers work in Manchester
Manchester has a steady supply of searches for bookkeeping. The city has a large self employed population, a dense run of small limited companies and a constant flow of new starts, and each of those needs someone to keep the records straight. The searches come from sole traders checking what a self assessment costs, from limited company directors looking for monthly bookkeeping, and from people who have just registered for VAT. Paid search in the city is contested, which tells you the demand is real and that the firms bidding on it treat it as worth money. The mix of owner operators and small practices competing for that demand is wide, and the searches themselves are local: people type a district or a nearby town alongside the trade. That is the demand available in Manchester, and it is there every week of the year.
