Chimney Sweeps

Automatic Indexing for Chimney Sweeps

A sitemap on your own domain, kept up to date as each post goes live, with robots.txt pointing at it. New posts get found without you submitting anything.

The phrases your customers type

People do not search for a chimney sweep. They search for the problem in front of them. They type things like my chimney is smoking, how often should a chimney be swept, bird in my chimney, or soot coming down the fireplace. They add the place name when they want someone local, as in chimney sweep near me or sweep in a named town. The trade words, flue, liner, sweep certificate, mean little to a homeowner with smoke in the room. HaloSEO researches the words people actually use and writes posts around those.

A worked example

Say you cover a market town and the villages around it. HaloSEO might publish a post titled Why Your Chimney Smokes When the Fire Is Lit. It would cover a cold flue, a blocked pot, damp wood and a chimney that needs sweeping. It would explain what a reader can check safely and when to stop and call someone. It would link to your contact page and to a related post on how often to book a sweep. The post goes live on your site and the sitemap updates. Nobody submits the URL anywhere.

What local intent means here

A chimney sweep is a person who comes to a house. That makes almost every search local, even when the searcher does not type a place. Someone reading about smoke coming back down a fireplace is likely deciding whether to book a sweep, and they will pick one who covers their street. So the posts need to speak to the area you serve, the kinds of homes in it, and the seasons that drive bookings. A post about open fires in older terraced houses reads differently from one about wood burners in a new build. Local intent is not a keyword with a town bolted on. It is the reader knowing you are the sweep for their road.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want a guaranteed position on Google. We do not promise rankings, traffic numbers or dates, because we do not control search engines. It is not right if you want to submit URLs to Search Console or use IndexNow. We do neither, and we do not ping Google. It is not right if you expect a writer to hand you drafts to edit. HaloSEO publishes. And it is not right if you have no website, because the sitemap lives on your own domain.
