Civil Engineers
Schema Generator for Civil Engineers
A tool that builds the JSON-LD for a page and refuses to emit a type whose required fields are missing. You paste the output where you need it.
The phrases your customers search
Civil engineers describe their work in technical terms. Your customers do not. A homeowner with a cracked retaining wall searches for who can fix a leaning garden wall, not for structural remediation services. A developer searches for a civil engineer for a small housing site, not for infrastructure design consultancy. A builder searches for drainage design for a house extension. Write down the words people use when they have a problem, then check them against what your trade calls the same job. The gap between the two lists is where your content should start.
A worked example
Say you want a post about retaining wall design. The post answers the questions a homeowner asks: how tall a wall can be before it needs an engineer, what a site visit involves, what drawings you produce. The schema generator builds the JSON-LD for that page, using the article type and the fields that type requires. If a required field is missing, it will not emit the type. You paste the finished block into the page yourself. The tool does not add schema to published posts automatically yet.
What local intent means here
Civil engineering work is tied to a place. A drainage design for a site in one council area follows different rules from the next. People search with a town or a county in the query because the rules and the site conditions change with it. That means your pages should name the places you actually work in, and should say what changes there. A page about drainage design that mentions the local authority and the ground conditions is more useful than a page that could have been written for anywhere.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want schema added to your existing posts without touching them. The tool gives you output to paste, and the pasting is your job. It is also not right for you if you expect a ranking, a position or a traffic number from using it. We do not control search engines and we do not promise any of those. And it is not right for you if you want a writer that publishes on its own without a person checking the work.
