Criminal Defense Lawyers
Automatic Indexing for Criminal Defense Lawyers
New posts on your site are only useful if search engines can find them. HaloSEO keeps a sitemap on your own domain up to date as each post goes live, so nobody has to submit anything by hand.
The phrases your clients type, not the ones the trade uses
Criminal defense lawyers tend to describe their work in the language of the courtroom. Clients do not. They search for what is happening to them or to someone they know. They type things like charged with a DUI, can police search my car, will I go to jail for a first offense, how do I get a record expunged, or do I need a lawyer for a misdemeanor. They search by charge, by county, and by the hour, often on a phone. HaloSEO researches those phrases for your area and writes posts around them, rather than around the terms your peers use with each other.
A worked example
Say you practice in a county where a lot of people search for what happens after a first DUI arrest. HaloSEO might publish a post titled What Happens After a First DUI Arrest in Your County. It would walk through the steps in plain order: the stop, the breath test, the booking, the first court date, and what a person should bring to a consultation. It would answer the questions people actually ask, in short sections, and link to your other posts on license suspension and on what to do before a hearing. The post goes live on your site and the sitemap updates with it.
What local intent means here
Criminal defense is local in a way few services are. The courthouse, the prosecutor, the local rules and the jail are all specific to a place, and people search with that place in mind. Someone in one county does not want a lawyer three counties away. That means the useful posts are built around a charge plus a place, and around the practical details of that place: where the courthouse is, what a first appearance looks like there, how the local process runs. HaloSEO writes with that local angle, and links the posts together so a reader who starts on one charge can find the related ones.
How the indexing part works
HaloSEO keeps a sitemap on your own domain and updates it as posts go live. Your robots.txt points at that sitemap. That is the whole mechanism. It gives search engines a current list of your pages on the domain they already know, so new posts can be found without anybody submitting them by hand. To be clear about the limits: HaloSEO does not ping Google, does not use IndexNow, and does not submit URLs to Search Console. It does not promise a ranking, a position, a traffic number or a date. We do not control search engines, and we will not pretend to.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want a guarantee of a ranking or a date by which you will see one. We cannot give that. It is not right for you if you want to approve every word before it goes live, because the platform publishes on its own. It is not right for a firm that has no website, or one that cannot have a sitemap and robots.txt on its own domain. It is not right for someone looking for a one off batch of articles, since this is a publishing platform that keeps running. And it is not right for a practice that wants to handle indexing by hand through Search Console, because HaloSEO does not do that for you.
