Dance Studios
Schema Generator for Dance Studios
A tool that builds JSON-LD for a dance studio page and refuses to emit a type when its required fields are missing. You paste the output where you want it.
The phrases your students actually type
People looking for a dance studio rarely search the words the trade uses. They type things like dance classes near me, beginner ballet classes for adults, kids dance classes on a Saturday, or hip hop classes for teenagers. Parents search by age and by day of the week. Adults search by level and by nerves, so phrases like never danced before and adult beginners come up. A studio that only writes about its syllabus and its exam boards misses most of this. The schema you build should describe the classes you run, the ages you teach and the area you serve, in the words people use when they are deciding where to go.
A worked example
Say a studio in Leeds runs adult beginner tap on Tuesday evenings and childrens ballet on Saturday mornings. A post built around the adult class would answer the questions people ask before they book: what to wear, whether you need a partner, how big the class is, what happens in the first session. The JSON-LD for that page would describe the class as an event or a course with its day, its location and its price, and the studio itself as a local business with an address and opening hours. If the price or the address is missing, the generator will not emit the type. It stops and tells you what is missing rather than shipping a broken block.
What local intent means for a dance studio
Local intent for a studio is not just a town name in a heading. It is a parent checking whether your Saturday class is walkable from their side of town, or an adult checking whether there is parking near the door. It is someone searching for a style plus a place, like salsa classes in Chorlton, or a style plus a life stage, like ballet for over 50s. The schema should carry your address, your service area and the classes you actually run there. That gives search engines and AI assistants something concrete to match against a query that has a place in it. It does not guarantee you appear for those queries. It gives you a clearer signal than a page that never states where it is.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want schema added to your published posts for you. The generator does not do that yet. It is a tool you paste the output from, so someone has to take the JSON-LD and put it on the page. It is also not right if you want a guarantee about rankings, traffic or timing. We do not control search engines and we will not promise a position or a date. And if your studio has no website, or a site you cannot edit, there is nothing to paste into, so fix that first.
