Content Calendar for Distributors
A content calendar tells you what gets published and when. For distributors, the useful version is built from what buyers actually type into search, not from what the trade calls things.
The phrases your buyers search
Distributors tend to describe their range in trade terms. Buyers often search in plain words instead. They look for a product by the job it does, by the size or spec they need, or by the name of their own town plus the word supplier. HaloSEO researches those phrases from your site and the market around it. The calendar is built from that research, so the plan starts with real search demand rather than a list of topics somebody guessed at.
A worked example
Say you distribute fasteners to trade customers in Leeds. A buyer might search for a supplier of a specific fixing in a specific size, or for next day delivery on that item in Leeds. HaloSEO would write a post that answers that search: what the fixing is, the sizes you stock, how ordering and delivery work, and a link through to the product page. The post is published, linked to related pages, and supported with backlinks. The calendar holds that post and the ones after it, and you can reorder it or push a subject to the front.
What local intent means for distributors
For a distributor, local intent is rarely about a shopfront. It is about delivery area, collection, lead times and whether you serve the buyer's postcode. Someone searching for a supplier near them usually wants to know if you can get the item to them quickly, or if they can pick it up. Posts that answer those questions match how people search when they need stock fast. The calendar can put those posts in front of the more general ones when that fits your plan.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want to write the posts yourself and only need a scheduling tool. It is not right if you sell to consumers only and have no trade or B2B side. It is not right if you need a fixed ranking or a guaranteed date, because nobody controls search engines. And it is not right if you want a calendar you fill in by hand, since this one is built from the keyword research and does not need anybody to populate it.
