Distributors

SEO Images for Distributors

Images on a distributor site are usually named and labelled for the trade. HaloSEO labels them for the people who buy from you, and it does that as part of publishing the post.

The phrases your customers search

Distributors tend to write for the trade. The words on the site are the words the rep uses on the phone. Buyers often search something else. They search for the product by what it does, by the size, by the material, by the job it goes on. They add a place name when they want someone nearby. HaloSEO researches the phrases people actually type, then writes the post around them. The image work follows the same rule. The alt text describes what is in the picture, so a screen reader and a search engine both get a true description.

A worked example

Say you distribute fasteners and you have a new line of stainless bolts for outdoor use. HaloSEO would publish a post on choosing fixings that will not rust on a coastal site. The post would carry a photo of the bolts on a weathered timber rail. The file would be named after the post, not after the camera. It would be sized and compressed so the page loads quickly. The alt text would say what the photo shows, for example a row of stainless bolts driven into a timber rail. It would not repeat the keyword. The post would then be linked to your related product pages and backlinks would be built to it.

What local intent means here

A distributor often serves a region, a county or a set of towns. Local intent for you is not a map listing. It is a buyer searching for a supplier who can deliver to their site, or who stocks the item they need this week. That changes the phrases worth targeting. It also changes the images. A photo of your yard, your counter or a loaded van tells a local buyer you are real and near. HaloSEO writes the alt text from what is in that photo, so the description stays honest and useful.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want a fixed ranking, a set traffic figure or a launch date. We do not control search engines and we will not promise any of those. It is not right for a business with no website, or one that cannot publish posts. It is not a replacement for a sales team, a catalogue or a stock system. And it is not for anyone who wants alt text stuffed with keywords. We write alt text from the picture, and we do not repeat the keyword in it.
