Dog Walkers

Multi-location SEO for Dog Walkers

If you walk dogs in more than one town, each town needs its own pages and its own words. HaloSEO runs that publishing for every location you cover.

The phrases your customers actually type

Dog walkers tend to describe their work in trade words. Customers do not. They search for things like dog walker near me, someone to walk my dog while I am at work, puppy visits midday, or dog walking in the next town over. They add the school run, a shift pattern, a new puppy, a holiday. HaloSEO researches the words people use in each area you serve and writes around those, not around the words you would put on a van.

A worked example

Say you cover two towns, one with a lot of young families and one with more retired households. For the first, HaloSEO might publish a post about fitting a midday walk around school hours, using the phrases parents in that town search for. For the second, it might publish a post about short notice walks and holiday cover, with different phrasing and different keywords. Same business, two posts, two sets of local words. Neither is a copy of the other with the town name swapped.

What local intent means for dog walkers

Local intent here is narrow. People want a walker who can reach their street, at the time they need, and they often want to know you are insured, that you will meet the dog first, and how you handle a nervous or reactive dog. They check whether you cover their postcode before anything else. A page that talks about your love of animals but never names the areas you cover, the times you run, or how a first meeting works will lose to a page that does.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you walk dogs in one small area and have no plans to widen it. One good local page may be enough. It is also not right if you want a set of town pages generated from a single article, because HaloSEO does not do that. Each location gets its own research and its own writing, which takes longer and costs more than spinning one post into twenty.

What HaloSEO does and does not do

You connect your website. HaloSEO researches the keywords, writes the posts, publishes them, links them up and builds the backlinks. For multi-location work it runs the same publishing for each location, with its own keywords and its own local phrasing. It does not create duplicate pages per town from one article. We cannot promise a ranking, a position, a traffic number or a date, because we do not control search engines.
