Content Calendar for Electricians
A content calendar tells you what to publish and when. For an electrician, the useful version is built from what customers type into Google, not from what the trade calls things.
The phrases customers search, not the phrases the trade uses
People do not search for consumer unit upgrades or periodic inspection and testing. They search for why is my fuse box buzzing, how much does it cost to rewire a house, or who can fix a socket that sparked. They search for an electrician near me at the moment something stops working. A calendar built from trade vocabulary fills up with posts nobody reads. A calendar built from customer vocabulary fills up with posts that match a real question at the moment it gets asked.
One worked example
Take a search like why does my RCD keep tripping. The post would explain what an RCD does, the common reasons it trips, what a homeowner can safely check, and when to call an electrician. It would end with a clear way to get in touch. That is one post. The calendar holds it, places it in order, and the next post follows the same pattern for the next question customers ask. Nobody has to sit down and think of a subject.
What local intent means for an electrician
Local intent is stronger for electricians than for most trades. A fault, a failed inspection or a rental certificate is urgent and tied to a building. People search with a town, a suburb or a postcode attached, and they want someone who can reach them. So the calendar should carry posts that speak to the areas you cover and the jobs that come up there, alongside the general question posts. The plan is built from keyword research, so the local phrases come from that research rather than from guesswork.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for an electrician who wants to write every post by hand and keep full control of the wording. It is not right for a business with no website, because there is nothing to connect. It is not right for someone looking for a one off burst of posts, since the calendar is a running plan. And it is not right for anyone who wants a guaranteed position on Google. We do not control search engines and we do not promise rankings, traffic numbers or dates.
