Exhibit A
Employment Lawyers work in Tallahassee
Tallahassee is a government and university town, so a large share of the working population is employed by the State of Florida, Florida State University, Florida A&M University and the school district. That shapes the demand for employment law: people search for help with state personnel actions, whistleblower retaliation, civil service grievances, faculty and staff disputes, and overtime or severance questions. The firms competing for those searches are mostly small Tallahassee practices and a handful of regional firms with a capital city presence, alongside the state employee unions and agencies that publish their own guidance. Paid search in this market is modest compared with Miami or Tampa, which means organic and AI search results carry a large share of the attention. The searches are specific and local: people type the agency or the campus, not just the practice area.
