Exhibit A
Financial Advisors work in Escondido
Escondido holds a steady base of financial advisory demand. The city has a large retirement age population, a set of small business owners along Grand Avenue and Valley Parkway, and households in the surrounding hills with money to plan around. Search demand for advice in the city is spread across a long list of terms: retirement income, rollovers, tax planning, estate questions, college funding. The firms competing for those searches are mostly small independent practices and a few regional names, so the field is not crowded the way a metro core is. Paid search in this trade is expensive per click because a single client is worth a lot, which leaves the organic results as the place a local practice can hold ground. Franchise brands take some of the visibility, and owner operators take the rest.
