Home Builders
Content Calendar for Home Builders
A content calendar tells you what goes out and when. For a home builder, the useful version is built from what buyers actually type into Google, not from what the trade says to each other.
The phrases your buyers search
Home builders tend to write in trade language. Buyers do not. A buyer searches for a house and land package, a display home near me, or a builder who does knock down rebuild. They search for a fixed price build, a first home buyer grant, or how long a build takes. They search for the suburb name plus builder. The plan behind this calendar starts from those phrases. HaloSEO researches the keywords, so the subjects come from real search demand rather than a list somebody guessed at.
One worked example
Say a builder works in a growth corridor and buyers keep searching for house and land packages in that area. The calendar would hold a post on what a house and land package includes, written in plain terms, covering the land, the build and what sits outside both. That post gets published, then linked to related posts on build timelines and on choosing a facade. The subject can be pushed to the front of the plan if the builder wants it out sooner. Nothing about that post promises a ranking.
What local intent means for home builders
For a builder, local intent is narrow. Somebody searching for a builder in a named suburb is usually deciding between a few nearby options, and they care about display homes they can walk into, estates that are actually under construction, and whether the builder has built in that council area before. A post aimed at a neighbouring suburb is a different post from one aimed at the next town over. The calendar keeps those subjects separate so each one speaks to the place it names.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for a builder who wants to write every post by hand and keep full control of the wording. It is not right for a business with no website, because there is nothing to connect. It is not right for someone looking for a one off batch of articles, since the point is a plan that keeps publishing. And it is not right for anyone who needs a guaranteed position on Google. We do not control search engines and we do not promise one.
