Home Inspectors

SEO Images for Home Inspectors

Images on a home inspector's site are often the last thing anyone looks at. They are also one of the few things Google can read directly, if the file is named and described properly.

The phrases your customers type, not the ones the trade uses

Home inspectors tend to write for each other. The words on the page say things like thermal imaging, moisture intrusion and structural defect. The person booking an inspection types something closer to what is wrong with my house, or who checks a house before I buy it, or home inspector near me. Those are different phrases and they lead to different pages. HaloSEO researches the words people actually search in your area, then writes posts around them. The trade vocabulary still appears where it belongs, but it is not the only thing the page is built on.

A worked example

Say you inspect homes in a town where a lot of buyers ask about damp. HaloSEO might publish a post answering what causes a damp patch on an inside wall, and what an inspector looks for when they see one. The post would carry a photo from the inspection, and the image would be named after the post, sized and compressed so the page loads quickly, and given alt text that describes what is in the picture. If the photo shows a tide mark along a skirting board, the alt text says that. It does not repeat the keyword. The post then gets linked to your other pages and the backlinks are built.

What local intent means for a home inspector

Almost every search a home inspector cares about has a place attached to it. Someone wants an inspection in a named town, or a named suburb, or within reach of a postcode. That changes what a page has to say. A page about radon means little without the area it applies to. A page about what an inspection covers means little if it never says where you work. HaloSEO writes posts that carry the place, and links them so the local pages support each other rather than sitting apart.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want a writer you brief by hand on every post. It is not right if you need a ranking, a position or a traffic number promised before you start, because we do not control search engines and will not pretend to. It is not right if your site has no images to work with, or if you would rather keep full control of every file name and every line of alt text. And it is not right if you are looking for a tool that only generates text. HaloSEO connects to your site, researches, writes, publishes, links and builds backlinks as one process.
