Hotels work in Ontario
Hotel demand in Ontario is spread across a wide set of searches. Travellers look for rooms near Toronto Pearson, around Niagara Falls, along the 401 corridor between Toronto and Kingston, and in cottage country through Muskoka and Haliburton. Business travellers search by district, by convention centre and by airport. The properties competing for those searches are a mix of national and international brands operating under franchise agreements, independent owner operators in smaller towns, and resort and inn operators who run their own booking pages. Each of those groups publishes its own site, so the search results for any given Ontario location carry several brand pages alongside independents. The demand is there all year, and it shifts by season and by what brings the guest to the province.
