Exhibit A
Insurance Agents work in Concord
Concord is a state capital, and the insurance work here follows the institutions: state government offices, the hospital system, the colleges and the law firms that serve them. Agencies in the city tend to be small and owner run, often one principal with a book built over decades, and many of them write commercial lines for the contractors, nonprofits and professional practices around the downtown and the South End. Personal lines demand comes from the older housing stock on the Heights and around White Park, where homeowners want someone local who understands older roofs, steam heat and finished basements. The searches are steady rather than huge, and they are specific: people type the coverage and the neighbourhood, not just the trade.
