Content Calendar for Locksmiths
A content calendar tells you what to publish and when. For a locksmith, the plan should come from what customers type into Google, not from what the trade calls things.
The phrases customers search, not the phrases the trade uses
Locksmiths talk about cylinder changes, euro profiles and multipoint mechanisms. Customers do not. They type things like locked out of my house, key snapped in the lock, or how much does a locksmith cost. HaloSEO builds the calendar from keyword research, so the plan starts with the searches people actually make. That means the posts answer the question the customer has at the moment they need help, in the words they used to ask it.
A worked example
Say the research shows people searching for a snapped key in a door lock. The calendar would hold a post on that subject. The post would explain what to do first, what not to do, and when to call someone out. It would sit alongside other posts on the same plan, such as a guide to lock prices or a piece on securing a front door. You can reorder the plan or push a subject to the front if something matters more this month. Nobody has to fill the calendar in. It is built from the research.
What local intent means for a locksmith
A locksmith is a local business. Most people searching for one want someone who can reach them today, in their own town or postcode. So the calendar should carry posts aimed at the places you cover, and posts that answer urgent questions, because urgent searches are the ones that turn into calls. Local intent also means the wording matters. A post written for a city centre will not read the same as one for a rural area where call out times are longer. The plan should reflect the places you actually work in.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for a locksmith who wants to write every post by hand and keep full control of the wording. It is not right for a business with no website, because there is nothing to connect. It is not right for someone who wants a guaranteed position on Google. We do not promise rankings, traffic numbers or dates, because we do not control search engines. And it is not right for a business that only wants a one off batch of posts. The calendar is a plan that keeps running.
