Squarespace Integration for Marketing Agencies
HaloSEO connects to your Squarespace site once and publishes finished posts to it. This page explains what that means for a marketing agency and who it is not right for.
The words your clients and your buyers actually type
Agencies often describe themselves with words their buyers do not use. People search for things like marketing agency near me, small business marketing help, social media management for small business, or who can run my Google ads. They also search by problem, such as why is my website not showing on Google or how do I get more enquiries from my site. Write for those phrases. The trade words can sit on a service page, but the posts that bring people in should use the plain phrases buyers type into a search box.
A worked example post
Say an agency in Leeds wants to reach local shop owners. HaloSEO could research and publish a post titled How small shops in Leeds get found on Google. The post would explain the basics in plain English, cover the questions owners ask, and link to the agency's local SEO service page and its contact page. It publishes as a normal post in the agency's own Squarespace theme, on the agency's own domain. Nothing else on the site changes.
What local intent means for a marketing agency
Local intent for an agency is rarely one search. Some people want an agency close by and search for marketing agency near me or marketing agency in Manchester. Others want help with a local problem, such as getting a shop to show up in map results. A third group searches by trade, like marketing for plumbers or marketing for cafes. Each of these needs its own post with its own wording. A single services page will not cover them. The posts should name the places and trades the agency actually serves, and link back to the right service page.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for an agency that wants a writer to draft posts for a human to edit and approve before they go live. HaloSEO publishes the finished post. It is not right for an agency that needs the blog hosted somewhere other than the client site, because HaloSEO publishes to the Squarespace site itself. It is not right for anyone who wants a promised ranking, a set traffic figure or a fixed date, because we do not control search engines and we do not promise those. And it is not right for an agency that wants a plugin to install and maintain, because there is no plugin.
