Notaries

Automatic Indexing for Notaries

New posts on your site should be found without you doing anything. HaloSEO keeps a sitemap on your own domain up to date and points robots.txt at it, so search engines can pick up new pages as they go live.

The phrases your customers type

People looking for a notary rarely type the words the trade uses. They type what is happening to them. They search for someone to witness a signature, to certify a copy of a passport, to swear an oath, or to come to a hospital or a care home. They search by the document, the day and the place. They type things like notary near me open Saturday, or who can sign a power of attorney, or how much does it cost to get a document notarised. HaloSEO researches the phrases your customers actually use, then writes posts around them. The trade words still matter, but they sit inside the post, not on top of it.

A worked example

Say you are a notary in a town with a large student population. A post could be titled: Do you need a notary for a document going abroad? It would explain which documents usually need a notary, what to bring, what an apostille is and when it is needed, and how to book an appointment. It would name the town and the surrounding areas you cover. It would link to your contact page and to a related post on certifying copies. The post goes live on your site, the sitemap updates, and robots.txt already points at it. Nobody submits anything.

What local intent means for a notary

A notary is a local service. Most people will not travel far for a signature, so the search is tied to a place and often to a time. Local intent here means the searcher wants someone close, available soon, and clear about price and documents. That shapes the posts. They should name the areas you cover, the days and hours you work, whether you travel to homes, hospitals or offices, and what a visit involves. A post about a document type is useful. A post about that document type in your town, with your hours and your location, is the one a local searcher can act on.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want guaranteed rankings, a set position or a traffic number by a set date. We do not control search engines and we will not promise that. It is not right for you if you expect us to ping Google, use IndexNow or submit URLs to Search Console. We do none of those things. What we do is keep a sitemap on your own domain updated as posts go live, with robots.txt pointing at it, so new posts are found without anybody submitting them. If you want a writer to hand you drafts to publish yourself, this is also not the right fit. HaloSEO is a publishing platform, not a writing tool.
