Optometrists

Wix Integration for Optometrists

HaloSEO connects to your Wix site once and publishes finished posts to it. The posts go out as normal posts, in your theme, on your domain.

The words your patients use

Your patients do not search the way the trade talks. They search things like eye test near me, how much is an eye test, can I get glasses the same day, my child needs a sight test, and why are my eyes always dry. They search by symptom, by price question and by location. They rarely search for the clinical terms you would put on a referral letter. HaloSEO researches the phrases people actually type, then writes posts around them. That means the posts answer the question the patient arrived with, in the words they used to ask it.

A worked example

Say your practice is in a town with a university and a lot of screen work. One post could be titled How often should you have an eye test if you work at a screen all day. It would explain the general guidance, note that screen work changes how tired your eyes feel, and say what to bring to an appointment. It would end with your address, your opening hours and a link to your booking page. The post publishes to your Wix site as a normal post, in your theme, on your domain. Nothing else on the site changes.

What local intent means for an optometrist

For an optometrist, local intent is most of the search. Someone with a sore eye is not going to travel far. Someone booking a child's sight test wants a practice they can reach after school. So the posts need to name your town, your area and the streets or landmarks people use to describe where you are. They also need to answer the questions people ask before they call, such as whether you take walk ins, what an eye test costs and whether you stock children's frames. A post that could have been written for any practice anywhere will not help you locally.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want a blog hosted somewhere else and pointed at your site. HaloSEO publishes to your Wix site, it does not host the blog for you. It is not right for you if you want a plugin you install and maintain, because there is no plugin. It is not right for you if you expect a ranking, a position or a traffic number by a set date. We do not control search engines and we will not promise that. And it is not right for you if you want to approve every word before it goes out, because the platform researches, writes and publishes on its own.
