Content Calendar for Packaging Companies

A content calendar tells you what to publish and when. For a packaging company, the useful version is built from what buyers actually type into Google, not from what the trade calls things.

The phrases your customers search, not the ones the trade uses

Packaging has its own vocabulary. Buyers rarely use it. They search for the problem in front of them: boxes for shipping mugs, food safe containers for a small cafe, custom printed bags for a shop, where to buy small cardboard boxes in bulk. They search by material, by size, by use and by town. HaloSEO researches these phrases from your website and builds the plan around them. The trade terms can still appear, but they do not lead.

A worked example

Say a packaging company sells corrugated boxes and mailers to small online sellers. A post from the plan might be titled What size mailer fits a folded t shirt. It would cover measuring a folded garment, the difference between a mailer and a box, and when a rigid box is worth the extra cost. It ends with a link to the relevant product page. The subject comes from the keyword research, not from a brainstorm.

What local intent means for packaging companies

Some buyers want a supplier they can visit or collect from. They search for packaging supplier near me, or a town name plus cardboard boxes. Others buy nationally and only care about price and delivery. The plan should carry both kinds of post, and the local ones should name the areas you actually serve. Do not claim coverage you do not have.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for a packaging company with no website, or one that cannot take on more work. It is not right if you want to approve every word before it goes live, because the platform publishes on its own. It is not right if you need a campaign tied to a trade show date next week, since the plan is built from research and runs on its own order. And it is not right if you expect a guaranteed position on Google. Nobody can promise that.
