Pest Control
Competitor Tracking for Pest Control
HaloSEO watches which sites rank for your pest control subjects and what pages they have. It turns the gap into planned articles, then writes and publishes them.
The phrases customers search, not the ones the trade uses
People with a wasp nest in the loft do not search for pest control. They search for wasps in the loft, or how to get rid of a wasp nest. Someone with mice in a kitchen types mice in kitchen at night. A landlord with a problem property types who do I call for cockroaches. HaloSEO looks at the sites that already rank for these plain phrases and at the pages they have built for them. It compares that against your site and plans articles for the subjects you are missing. The trade words still matter, but they are not where most of the demand sits.
A worked example
Say a competitor ranks for a page about rats in the garden and what actually works. HaloSEO sees that page, sees you have nothing on the subject, and plans an article. The post would cover where rats get in, what signs to look for, what a homeowner can do themselves and when to call someone out. It would be written in plain English, published on your site and linked from related pages. The same gap might produce a post on cluster flies in a loft, or on what a wasp treatment involves. The output is the next set of subjects, not a report to read.
What local intent means for pest control
Pest control is a local trade. Most searches carry a place in them, or the search engine adds one. People search for wasp removal near me, or pest control in a named town, or emergency pest control followed by their area. That means the pages that win are usually the ones that name the places you cover and the problems common there. HaloSEO tracks which local sites rank for your subjects and what they have pages for. It plans articles around those local subjects so your site has something to rank for each place you serve.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for a business that wants a dashboard to read. HaloSEO does not produce one. The output is the next set of subjects and the articles themselves. It is not right for a pest control firm that will not publish regularly, or one that wants a guaranteed position on Google. We do not promise a ranking, a position, a traffic number or a date, because we do not control search engines. It is also not right for a national brand with no local pages to build.
