Squarespace Integration for PR Agencies
HaloSEO connects to your Squarespace site once and publishes finished posts to it. This page explains what that means for a PR agency, and who it is not for.
The phrases your clients actually type
PR agencies often describe their work with words their buyers do not use. A founder looking for help does not search for media relations strategy. They search for how to get my business in the local paper, or who can write a press release for a small company, or how to get journalists to reply to my emails. A local shop owner searches for how to get my shop mentioned in the news. These are the phrases HaloSEO researches and writes around. The trade language can appear in the post, but the post is built on the words people type into a search box.
A worked example
Say your agency works with independent restaurants. HaloSEO might research and write a post titled How to get your restaurant into a local food roundup. The post would explain what a journalist needs, what to send and when, and what makes a pitch easy to use. It would be published to your Squarespace site as a normal post, in your theme, on your domain. It would link to other posts on your site and HaloSEO would build backlinks to it. You review nothing you do not want to review. The post carries your agency name, not ours.
What local intent means for a PR agency
For a PR agency, local intent is rarely about your own town. It is about the places your clients want coverage in. A client in Leeds wants Leeds coverage. A client in Bristol wants Bristol coverage. So the useful posts are written for the people in those places who are trying to get noticed there. That means posts about local newspapers, local radio, regional business press and local awards, written for the business owner searching in that area. HaloSEO can research and publish posts aimed at those searches, on your site, under your name.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want a tool that hosts your blog for you. HaloSEO publishes to your Squarespace site, it does not replace it. It is not right for you if you need a plugin you keep updated, because there is no plugin. It is not right for you if you expect a guaranteed ranking, a set position, a traffic number or a date, because we do not control search engines and we will not promise those. It is not right for you if you want a writer to hand you drafts to edit, because HaloSEO publishes finished posts. And it is not right for you if your clients' coverage depends on personal relationships you have built over years. That work is yours. This is the publishing layer underneath it.
