Restaurants work in Aurora
Aurora is a city of roughly 400,000 people spread across a wide map, and its restaurant trade runs on that spread. The dining rooms cluster along the Yonge Street corridor, in the big plazas off Bayview and Leslie, and around the newer retail on Wellington and St John's Sideroad, while the north end and the older village cores carry their own smaller rooms. The trade is a mix of independent owner operators and franchise locations, and the franchise side brings national brand search that a single operator cannot outbid. Paid search in this trade is expensive because the clicks convert to bookings, so the paid space is crowded and the organic results underneath it are where a local restaurant can hold ground. The demand is steady and it is local: people search by neighbourhood, by cuisine and by occasion, and they search close to the moment they decide.
