Restaurants work in Irvine
Irvine is a planned city of village centres, each with its own cluster of restaurants, and the search demand follows those clusters. People search by village and by centre, not just by city, so a restaurant near Woodbridge or off Culver Drive is competing for a smaller, sharper set of searches than a citywide term suggests. The trade here runs on a mix of national chains in the shopping centres and independent owner operators in the village centres and along the business districts. Irvine also has a large daytime population from the office and tech campuses, which shapes lunch demand and after work bookings. We do not publish a search volume figure for Irvine because we have not measured one for this trade in this city.
