Restaurants work in Moreno Valley
Moreno Valley is a large city in western Riverside County, and its restaurant demand follows the shape of the place. The city grew fast through the 1980s and 1990s, so much of its housing sits in planned tracts and apartment complexes, and a lot of the eating out happens close to home rather than in a single downtown strip. The trade along the 60 freeway corridor and around the Moreno Valley Mall draws people from across the east side of the city, while neighbourhood centres serve the tracts around them. Chain and franchise locations are common here, and so are independent owner operators, many of them family run and serving Mexican, Filipino, Korean and American food. Searches come from people deciding where to eat tonight, from families planning a birthday or a graduation meal, and from workers looking for lunch near their job. That is the demand available, and it is spread across many small decisions rather than concentrated in one.
