The brief
SaaS work in Kansas City
Kansas City has a SaaS scene built on a few clusters: health tech and insurance software around the River Market and the Crossroads, logistics and supply chain tools near the rail and truck corridors, and a steady run of small B2B products started by people who came out of Cerner, Garmin and the local agency world. Search demand for SaaS terms in the metro is spread thin across many small firms rather than concentrated in a handful of large ones, so the paid search for most product categories is modest and the organic results are often held by national vendors with no Kansas City presence at all. That leaves room for a local product to own the searches that carry a city or a region in them. The demand is there for teams that publish consistently and target the terms their buyers actually type.
