Tutoring Services

Squarespace Integration for Tutoring Services

HaloSEO connects to your Squarespace site once and publishes finished posts to it. This page explains what that means for a tutoring business, and who it is not for.

The phrases your customers type, not the ones the trade uses

Tutoring businesses tend to write for other tutors. Parents and students search in plain words. They type things like maths tutor near me, someone to help my daughter with GCSE maths, or a tutor who can come to our house. They search by subject, by year group, by exam board and by area. They search close to exam season and after a bad report. A post built around the words a parent would type has a better chance of being found than one built around the words a tutor would use in a brochure.

A worked example post

Say you tutor GCSE maths in a town with two secondary schools. HaloSEO could research and write a post titled How to find a GCSE maths tutor in your area. It would cover what to ask before you book, how to tell whether a tutor knows your exam board, what a first session usually looks like, and how to fit sessions around school. It would link to your own booking page and to a related post on revision habits. The post publishes to your Squarespace site as a normal post, in your theme, on your domain.

What local intent means for a tutoring business

Most tutoring searches have a place attached. A parent wants someone they can drive to, or someone who will come to them. That means the words that matter are often the town, the suburb, the school catchment or the nearest station. A page that names the areas you cover and the schools you know can answer a question a general page cannot. Local intent also shows up in timing. Searches rise before exams and at the start of a term, so posts that speak to those moments are worth having ready.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want a blog hosted somewhere else, or if you want a plugin you install and update yourself. HaloSEO does not host your blog and does not use a plugin. It is also not right if you expect a guaranteed position on Google or a set number of students by a set date. We do not control search engines and we will not promise a ranking or a timeframe. And if you want to write every post yourself and only need a proofreader, this is more than you need.
