Vacation Rentals

Wix Integration for Vacation Rentals

HaloSEO connects to your Wix site once and publishes finished posts to it. The posts go out as normal posts, in your theme, on your domain.

What the Wix connection does

You connect your Wix site to HaloSEO one time. After that, HaloSEO researches the keywords, writes the posts, publishes them to your site and links them up. Each post arrives as a normal Wix post, in your site's own theme and on your own domain. There is no plugin to install and no plugin to keep up to date. HaloSEO does not host the blog for you and does not change anything else on your Wix site.

The phrases Vacation Rentals customers actually search

Guests do not search the way the trade talks. They do not type the words owners use with each other. They type what they want and where they want it. Think about the searches a guest makes before they book: a cottage near a named beach, a place with a hot tub that takes dogs, a cabin for a group of eight, a rental within walking distance of a town centre, a stay with parking, a place with a late check in. They also search by trip type: a weekend away for two, a family break in the school holidays, a stay for a wedding nearby. HaloSEO researches these phrases for your area and your kind of property, then writes posts around them. The point is to answer the question a guest is already asking, in the words they use.

A worked example post

Say you let a two bedroom cottage in a coastal town and you accept dogs. A post HaloSEO could publish for you might be titled around the search a guest makes when they want a dog friendly place near that beach. The post would cover which parts of the beach allow dogs and when, where to walk them, which local pubs and cafes take dogs inside, and what the cottage itself offers for a dog, such as an enclosed garden or a hard floor by the door. It would link to your booking page and to other posts on your site, such as a guide to the town in winter. It would publish to your Wix site as a normal post, in your theme, on your domain. We do not promise where that post will rank or when. We write it, publish it and link it up.

What local intent means for Vacation Rentals

For a vacation rental, local intent is the whole search. A guest is not looking for a rental in general. They are looking for a rental in one place, for one set of dates, for one kind of trip. That means the useful posts are tied to the place: what is within walking distance, what the nearest station is, where to park, what is open out of season, which beach or trail is closest, what the roads are like in winter. It also means the posts should name the places guests will search for, the towns, villages, beaches and landmarks around your property. A guest comparing two rentals will pick the one whose site answers their questions about the area. HaloSEO builds posts around that local detail so your site can answer those questions.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want a blog hosted by someone else. HaloSEO publishes to your Wix site, on your domain, and does not host anything for you. It is not right for you if you want a plugin you manage and update yourself, because there is no plugin. It is not right for you if you expect a ranking, a position, a traffic number or a date, because we do not control search engines and we will not promise those. It is not right for you if you want HaloSEO to change other parts of your Wix site, such as your booking pages, your photos or your layout. It only publishes posts. And it is not right for you if you want to approve every word before it goes live, because the platform is built to research, write and publish on its own.
