Competitor Tracking for Web Designers

HaloSEO watches which sites rank for your subjects and what pages they have. It turns the gap into planned articles, then writes and publishes them.

The phrases your customers search

Your customers do not search for the words the trade uses. They do not type responsive design or conversion funnel. They type how much does a website cost, why is my site slow on phones, or who can fix my WordPress site. HaloSEO looks at the sites that already rank for those phrases and at the pages they have built to answer them. It then plans articles around the phrases your customers actually use, not the ones you would use with a colleague.

A worked example

Say a local studio ranks for a page titled how much does a small business website cost. HaloSEO sees that page and the related subjects it covers. It plans a post for your site on what changes the price of a website, covering page count, copywriting, photography and ongoing hosting. The post is written, published and linked from your other pages. It answers the question a customer is already asking before they call you.

What local intent means here

Most web design work is local. A customer searching for a web designer near me wants someone they can meet, or at least someone in the same city. That changes the subjects worth covering. Pages about working with clients in your area, about the towns you serve, and about local businesses you understand will match that intent better than a general page about web design. HaloSEO plans those subjects when the sites ranking for them are local ones.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want a dashboard to read. HaloSEO does not produce one. The output is the next set of subjects to publish, not a report to study. It is also not right if you want to approve every word before it goes live, or if you sell only to clients outside your region and have no local intent to serve. And it will not suit you if you expect a guaranteed position on Google. We do not control search engines and we do not promise one.
