Wineries work in Saint Paul
Saint Paul searches for wineries the way a river city does: people look for a tasting room to spend an afternoon in, a venue for a wedding or a company party, and a place to buy local bottles for a gift. The demand is steady and it clusters around the weekends and the warm months, when visitors plan trips along the Mississippi and around the metro. Much of the trade here is owner operated, small producers and tasting rooms run by the people who make the wine, and they compete for attention with the larger venues across the river in Minneapolis. That leaves room for a winery that shows up in search with pages about tours, private events, wine flights and the neighborhoods people are coming from.
