Barbershops

Internal Link Builder for Barbershops

HaloSEO links each new post to three to five of your own earlier posts, on the phrase the target was written to rank for. It also goes back to older posts and links them forward to new ones.

The phrases your customers type, not the ones the trade uses

People looking for a barber rarely type the words barbers use with each other. They type what they want and where they are. Things like barber near me, walk in barber, barber open Sunday, kids haircut near me, skin fade, beard trim near me, or the name of the area plus barber. They also type questions. How much is a haircut, do I need to book, how long does a skin fade take. HaloSEO researches the keywords for your shop and writes posts around those phrases, so the words on the page match the words in the search box.

A worked example

Say your shop is in a town with a station and a few offices nearby. HaloSEO might publish a post titled Walk in barber near the station, written to rank for walk in barber plus your area. That post would link to three to five of your earlier posts, each on the phrase that post was written for. So it might link to your post on skin fades, your post on beard trims, and your post on Saturday opening hours, using those phrases as the link text. Later, when a new post goes up about kids haircuts, HaloSEO revisits the walk in post and adds a link forward to it. A link only goes in where the sentence reads naturally with it.

What local intent means for a barbershop

For a barbershop, local intent is most of the search. Someone searching for a barber is usually close by and wants to come in soon. They care about the area, the opening hours, whether they can walk in, and the price. A post about fades in general does little for a shop in one town. A post about fades in that town, with the street, the parking and the hours, does more. HaloSEO writes for the place as well as the service, and links the posts together so a reader who lands on one can find the others.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for a shop with no website, because there is nothing to connect. It is not right for a shop that wants links bought for it. HaloSEO does not buy links and does not link to sites we do not publish to. It is not right for a shop that wants a set position on Google by a set date. We do not control search engines and we will not promise a ranking, a traffic number or a date. It is also not right for a shop that wants to write and place every post by hand, since HaloSEO researches, writes and publishes on its own.
