Doctors

Internal Link Builder for Doctors

HaloSEO links each new post to three to five of your earlier posts, on the phrase the target was written to rank for. It also goes back to older posts and links them forward to the new one.

The phrases patients type, not the ones the practice uses

Patients rarely search for the clinical name of a service. They type what is happening to them, where they are, and what they want done about it. So the keyword research starts from those phrases, not from the wording on your service page. A practice may describe a procedure one way on its website while patients search for it in plain words, often with a suburb or a town attached. HaloSEO researches the phrases people actually use, writes posts around them, and links each new post to three to five of your earlier posts on the phrase that post was written to rank for. The link sits on that phrase, inside a sentence where it reads naturally. If the sentence does not carry the link cleanly, the link is not placed there.

One worked example

Say a practice has an earlier post about when a persistent cough needs a doctor. A new post is written to rank for a phrase patients use about booking a same day appointment. HaloSEO links the new post back to the cough post on the phrase that cough post was written for, and it revisits the cough post to add a link forward to the new one. The same happens with three to five earlier posts in total, each linked on its own target phrase. The result is a set of posts that point at each other in the places a reader would expect, rather than a block of links at the bottom of the page.

What local intent means for a doctors' practice

For a doctors' practice, local intent is most of the search. People look for a doctor near them, open now, taking new patients, or able to see a child today. The place name is often part of the phrase, and so is the urgency. That changes what a post has to say. A post written for a nearby suburb has to answer for that suburb, not for the country as a whole. HaloSEO writes posts around the phrases your patients use, including the ones with a place in them, and links them to your other posts on the same target phrases. It does not buy links and it does not link to sites we do not publish to, so every link stays inside your own site.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for a practice that wants a set number of new patients by a set date. We do not promise a ranking, a position, a traffic number or a date, because we do not control search engines. It is not right for a practice that wants to buy links, since we do not buy links. It is not right for a practice that wants links placed to sites we do not publish to, since we do not do that. And it is not right for a practice with no website to connect, because the linking work depends on your own published posts.
