Event Venues
Schema Generator for Event Venues
A tool that builds JSON-LD for an event venue page and refuses to emit a type when required fields are missing. You paste the output into your site.
The phrases your customers search
Couples and organisers do not search for the words the trade uses. They search for the room, the date and the town. Think wedding venue near me, barn wedding venue with accommodation, small function room for 60 guests, christening venue with parking, or conference room hire in a named town. They search by capacity, by price band, by whether they can bring their own caterer, and by how far they will drive. Write the page around those phrases. The schema then describes the same thing the page describes, which is the point.
A worked example
Say you run a converted mill that hosts weddings and parties. A post could be titled Wedding venues in [town] with room for 120 guests. It would cover capacity, the rooms, parking, access, catering rules and the dates you have open. The JSON-LD for that page would use EventVenue with name, address, capacity and the events you host. If the address or capacity is missing, the tool will not emit the type. It tells you what is missing instead of guessing.
What local intent means for a venue
For a venue, local intent is not just a town name. It is a travel decision. People ask how far a venue is from the church, from the station, from the motorway, and whether guests can stay over. They compare two or three venues in the same radius. So the pages that answer distance, capacity and access questions match what people actually type. Schema helps a search engine read the address, the capacity and the event types on that page. It does not rank the page for you.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want schema added to posts you have already published. It does not do that yet. It is a tool you paste the output from, so someone has to put it on the page. It is also not right if you want a plugin that handles everything on its own, or if you cannot supply the address, capacity and event details the schema needs. And it will not fix a thin page. The schema describes the page. It does not replace it.
