Machine Shops
AI Visibility Reports for Machine Shops
HaloSEO asks the assistants the questions your customers ask, then records whether your shop was named, what was said, and who was named instead. It is a measurement, not a ranking.
The phrases your customers search, not the ones the trade uses
Your customers do not search for five axis vertical machining centres or CNC turning with live tooling. They search for a shop that can make a part, fix a part, or make a batch of parts by a date. They type things like machine shop near me, CNC machining quote, small batch machining, one off machined part, or who can machine this drawing. A buyer with a broken component searches for a repair, not a capability. HaloSEO researches the words buyers use, then writes posts around those words. The trade vocabulary still appears in the post, because it tells the reader you know the work. It just does not lead.
A worked example of a post
Say a shop wants to be found for small batch machining. HaloSEO would publish a post titled What to send a machine shop for a small batch quote. It would cover the drawing or model, the material and its condition, the quantity, the tolerance that actually matters, the finish, and the date the parts are needed. It would explain why a shop asks these questions and what happens when a detail is missing. The post answers the question a buyer has before they call. It does not promise a position on Google or a mention in any assistant. It gives the assistants something clear to read.
What local intent means for a machine shop
For a machine shop, local intent is rarely about the nearest shop. It is about the nearest shop that can do this job, in this material, at this size, in this window. A buyer searching for machining near me may be willing to travel for the right capability, or may need someone close enough to drop off a part the same morning. Both are local, and they are different questions. Posts should name the town, the industrial estate, the trading estate, the units and the access, and should say which jobs suit a customer who needs to visit in person. That is what a local search is really asking.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for a shop that wants a guaranteed position on Google or a promised mention in an assistant. We do not control search engines or the assistants, and we do not tell the assistants anything. It is not right for a shop with no website, or one that cannot say what it makes and for whom. It is not right for a shop that wants a writer to produce posts it will edit and publish itself, because HaloSEO publishes. And it is not right for a shop looking for a one off audit with no ongoing publishing.
