Machine Shops

Internal Link Builder for Machine Shops

HaloSEO links each new post to three to five of your own earlier posts, on the phrase the target was written to rank for. It also goes back to older posts and links them forward to new ones.

The phrases your customers type, not the ones the trade uses

People looking for a machine shop rarely search for the terms machinists use with each other. They type what they need done and where they are. They search for a shop that can make a part to a drawing, a shop that can turn a one off, a shop that can hold a tolerance, a shop near them that can take on a small run. They search for the material and the job, not the process name. HaloSEO researches those phrases for your business and writes each post around one of them. The internal links then point at the phrase the post was written to rank for, so the words on the page and the words in the link agree.

A worked example

Say a shop wants to be found for small batch CNC turning. HaloSEO writes a post on that phrase and publishes it. The post links to three to five earlier posts on your site, each on the phrase that post was written to rank for, for example a post on tolerances, a post on materials, and a post on lead times for short runs. The link sits on the phrase inside a sentence that reads naturally with it. HaloSEO then revisits those older posts and adds a link forward to the new one. Nothing is bought, and nothing points at a site we do not publish to.

What local intent means for a machine shop

A machine shop is chosen by distance as much as by capability. A buyer with a part to make will look for a shop they can drive to, or one that serves their town or county. That means the phrases that matter often carry a place in them, and the pages that answer them need to read like they were written for that place. HaloSEO writes posts around the phrases your customers use, including the ones with a location in them. It does not create a listing, a map entry or a review profile, and it does not promise a position in local results.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for a shop with no website, because there is nothing to connect. It is not right for a shop that wants links bought for it, because HaloSEO does not buy links. It is not right for a shop that wants links to other people's sites, because HaloSEO only links to sites we publish to. It is not right for a shop that wants a guaranteed position or a date, because we do not control search engines and will not promise either. And it is not right for a shop that wants a writer to hand posts back for review, because HaloSEO publishes them.
