Restaurants work in Escondido
Escondido is a city of around 150,000 people with a dining scene spread across a historic downtown, several shopping centres and the corridors along Valley Parkway and Centre City Parkway. Searches for restaurants here carry strong local intent: people look for a cuisine, a neighbourhood, a patio, a happy hour or a table for a group, and they often search on a phone within a few miles of where they are standing. The field is a mix of owner operated places and regional and national chains, and the chains bid on paid search for broad terms while independent kitchens tend to rely on maps listings and word of mouth. That leaves a wide band of specific searches, by dish, by occasion and by part of the city, where a well built page can sit in front of a diner who is ready to book.
