Surveyors

Automatic Indexing for Surveyors

HaloSEO keeps a sitemap on your own domain updated as each post goes live, with robots.txt pointing at it. New posts get found without you submitting anything by hand.

The phrases your customers type

People looking for a surveyor rarely use the words the trade uses. They type things like how much is a home survey, what does a building survey include, or is a structural survey worth it. They search by the problem and the price, not by the service name. HaloSEO researches those phrases for your area and writes posts around them, so the words on your site match the words people actually type.

A worked example

Say you work around a mid sized town and cover home buyer reports and building surveys. HaloSEO might publish a post titled what a building survey covers and when you need one. It would explain the parts of a property a surveyor checks, the difference between a condition report and a full building survey, and the questions to ask before you book. It ends with a clear next step to get in touch. The post goes live on your domain, the sitemap updates, and robots.txt already points at it.

What local intent means for surveyors

For a surveyor, local intent is rarely just a town name. It is a town name plus a property type or a job. People search for a surveyor near a specific postcode, a damp survey on a period house, or a valuation before a remortgage in a named area. They want someone who can get to the property. Posts that name the areas you cover and the property types you know will read as relevant to those searches. HaloSEO builds the keyword research around that local shape rather than generic national terms.

How the indexing works

HaloSEO keeps a sitemap on your own domain and updates it as posts go live. Your robots.txt points at that sitemap. That is the whole mechanism. We do not ping Google, we do not use IndexNow, and we do not submit URLs to Search Console. Search engines still decide what to crawl and when. We make the posts easy to find. We do not control the outcome.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want a guaranteed position on Google or a set amount of traffic by a set date. We do not promise rankings, positions, traffic numbers or dates, because we do not control search engines. It is also not right if you want a tool that pings Google or submits URLs to Search Console, because HaloSEO does none of those things. And if you want to write and approve every word yourself, an autonomous publishing platform will not suit how you work.
