Content Calendar for Trucking Companies

A content calendar tells you what to publish and when. For a trucking company, the useful version is built from what shippers and drivers actually type into search, not from what the industry says to itself.

The phrases your customers actually search

Trucking companies tend to write for other trucking companies. The trade says things like capacity solutions, asset based carrier and dedicated lane. The people searching are usually a shipper with a load to move or a driver looking for work, and they type plain things. They search for freight shipping near me, refrigerated trucking company, how much does it cost to ship a pallet, CDL jobs no experience, or dry van carrier in a named city. HaloSEO researches those phrases from your site and builds the plan around them. You do not fill the calendar in by hand. It comes out of the keyword research.

One worked example

Say you run a dry van and reefer fleet out of a mid sized city. The research turns up a phrase like refrigerated shipping to a nearby metro. The calendar holds a post on that subject, written to answer the questions a shipper asks before calling: what can go in a reefer, how temperature is held, what paperwork is needed, how to get a quote. The post links to your lanes page and your contact page. If a customer asks about a subject sooner, you can push it to the front of the plan or reorder it. The plan is yours to move. The writing and publishing are handled.

What local intent means here

Local intent for a trucking company is not the same as for a shop or a cafe. A shipper rarely wants the closest truck. They want a carrier that runs their lane, holds the right equipment and can pick up on the day they need. So local search for you is often city plus service, or city plus equipment, or origin and destination together. A driver searching for work nearby is a second kind of local intent, and it points at a different page. The calendar should hold posts for both, because both bring people to your site.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for a trucking company with no website, or one that will not let a platform publish to it. It is not right if you want to approve every word before it goes live, because the plan runs from the research and does not wait on a person to fill it in. It is not right if you need leads this week. Publishing takes time to show up in search, and nobody can promise you a position or a date. And it is not right if you want a writer to take dictation. This is a publishing platform, not another AI writer.
