Tutoring Services
Schema Generator for Tutoring Services
A tool that builds JSON-LD for a tutoring page and refuses to emit a type when required fields are missing. You paste the output into your site yourself.
The phrases your customers type, not the ones the trade uses
Tutors tend to write about their subjects, their qualifications and their methods. Parents and students search differently. They type things like maths tutor near me, GCSE English help, someone to help my daughter with chemistry, or how much does a tutor cost. A page built around your teaching philosophy will not match those searches. The schema tool does not pick keywords for you. It builds the structured data for a page you have already written, so the page needs to answer the question the searcher actually typed before the markup helps anyone.
A worked example
Say you run a small tutoring business and you write a post called GCSE Maths Tutoring in Leeds: What Parents Ask. The post covers price per hour, group versus one to one, how sessions are scheduled and what happens in a first lesson. You run that page through the schema generator. It builds the JSON-LD for the page and checks the required fields for the type you chose. If a required field is missing, it refuses to emit that type and tells you what is absent. You then paste the finished block into the page yourself. Nothing is added to your published posts automatically yet.
What local intent means for tutoring
Tutoring is a local search for most families. A parent wants someone they can reach, often someone who teaches at a school they know or works from a library or community centre nearby. That makes the area you serve, the subjects you cover and the levels you teach the facts that matter most on the page. Local intent also means the searcher may be comparing two or three tutors in the same town. Your page has to make your location and your subjects clear in plain words. The schema tool helps you describe the page accurately. It does not create a local listing, and it does not submit anything to a search engine.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want schema added to your existing posts without touching them. That does not happen yet. It is a tool you paste the output from, so someone has to open the page and place the block. It is also not right for you if you expect the markup alone to move you up the results. We do not promise a ranking, a position, a traffic number or a date, because we do not control search engines. And if you have no page written yet, there is nothing to generate schema for. Write the page first.
