Well Drilling

Automatic Indexing for Well Drilling

New posts on your well drilling site can be found without you submitting them. HaloSEO keeps a sitemap on your own domain up to date and points robots.txt at it.

The phrases your customers search

People who need a well do not talk like the trade. They search things like how deep does a well need to be, why is my well water cloudy, cost to drill a well on my land, or who fixes a well pump near me. They search by problem and by town. A post built around the words a homeowner types will meet them where they are. A post built around internal trade language will not.

A worked example

Say a well drilling business covers three counties. HaloSEO might publish a post titled Why Is My Well Water Cloudy After Heavy Rain. It explains what sediment in groundwater does after storms, when it settles, and when to call someone. It links to the company's page on well inspection and to a post on water testing. The sitemap on the company's domain updates when the post goes live, and robots.txt points at that sitemap. Nobody submits the URL anywhere.

What local intent means here

Well drilling is local by nature. Nobody hires a driller from four states away. So the searches that matter carry a place in them: a town name, a county, a road, or the phrase near me. That means posts should name the places the business actually serves and speak to the ground and water conditions there. A post about drilling through ledge is useful in one region and irrelevant in another. Local intent is not a setting. It is the words in the post.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for a business that wants a ranking promised by a date. We do not control search engines and we will not claim a position or a timeframe we have not measured. It is not right for someone who wants to submit each URL to Search Console by hand, because we do not do that. We do not ping Google and we do not use IndexNow. If you need those steps done manually, this is not the tool for it.
