Barbershops
Multi-location SEO for Barbershops
A barbershop with two or three chairs in two or three towns has a search problem that a single website does not solve. HaloSEO runs the same publishing for each location, with its own keywords and its own local phrasing.
The phrases your customers type, not the ones the trade uses
Barbers talk about a skin fade, a scissor cut, a wet shave and a restyle. Customers type other things. They type barber near me, barber open now, walk in barber, kids haircut near me, how much is a haircut, barber that takes card, and the name of the street or estate they live on. They type the name of the town next to the word barber, and they type it the way people say it, not the way the council spells it. HaloSEO researches those phrases for each location and writes for them. The trade vocabulary can appear in the post, but it does not lead.
A worked example
Say you have shops in two towns. For the first, HaloSEO might publish a post titled What a walk in barber means on a Saturday, covering queue times, whether card is taken, and how a restyle is priced. For the second, it might publish When to book a kids haircut before school starts, covering the first week of term and what to tell the barber. Each post has its own keywords, its own local phrasing and its own internal links back to that location's page. The two posts are not the same article with the town name swapped. They are separate pieces written for separate searches.
What local intent means for a barbershop
Local intent for a barbershop is short distance and short notice. Someone searching for a barber is usually within walking or driving range and often wants an appointment today or this week. That changes what a post has to answer. It has to name the area plainly, say what the shop does and does not take bookings for, and be clear about opening hours and walk in policy. A post that ranks for a town forty miles away is worth little. A post that answers a question from someone two streets away is worth a lot.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for a barbershop with one chair and no plan to publish regularly. It is not right for a shop that wants a page per town generated from one article, because HaloSEO does not do that. It is not right for a business that needs a ranking, a position or a traffic number promised by a date, because we do not control search engines and will not promise one. And it is not right for a shop that will not tell us what is actually true about its hours, prices and booking policy, because the posts are built on those facts.
