Handyman Services
Automatic Indexing for Handyman Services
New posts on your handyman site can be found without you submitting anything. HaloSEO keeps your sitemap updated and points robots.txt at it, so search engines can pick up new pages on their own.
The phrases your customers type, not the ones the trade uses
People looking for a handyman rarely search for a handyman. They search for the job. They type things like shelf falling off the wall, fix a leaking tap, put up a curtain rail, or who can I call to patch a hole in the plasterboard. They add their town or their postcode. They write in full sentences and they make spelling mistakes. HaloSEO researches the words people actually use for the work you do, then writes posts around those words. The trade language stays out of it.
A worked example
Say you work in a town where people keep searching for someone to assemble flat pack furniture. HaloSEO could publish a post titled How much does flat pack assembly cost, and what affects the price. The post would explain what changes the job: the number of items, the size of each one, whether the furniture is already delivered, and whether the old item needs taking away. It would mention the areas you cover. It would link to your contact page and to a related post about putting up shelves. The sitemap on your own domain updates as the post goes live, and robots.txt points at that sitemap, so the post can be found without anybody submitting it.
What local intent means for a handyman
For a handyman, local intent is almost the whole search. A person with a broken door handle does not want a national brand. They want someone who can come this week and who is close enough to get there. That shows up in the words they use: the town, the suburb, the estate, the nearest big road. It also shows up in what they need to know before they call. Do you cover their area. Do you take small jobs. Do you work weekends. Posts that answer those questions plainly, with the place names people use, match how the search is actually made.
Who this is not right for
This is not right for you if you want a guaranteed position on Google or a promised date for traffic. We do not control search engines and we will not claim a ranking we have not measured. It is not right for you if you want to submit each URL to Search Console by hand, or if you need IndexNow or a ping to Google. HaloSEO does none of those things. It keeps your sitemap current and points robots.txt at it. It is also not right for a business with no website, or one that cannot publish new pages at all.
