Barbershops

Schema Generator for Barbershops

A tool that builds JSON-LD for a barbershop page and refuses to emit a type when required fields are missing. You paste the output into your site yourself.

The phrases your customers type

People do not search for a barbering service or a grooming establishment. They type barber near me, walk in haircut, barber open Sunday, kids haircut near me, skin fade price, or the name of the street they are standing on. They search on a phone, often within a few minutes of wanting a chair. The trade words you use on your own signage are not the words that bring them in. Write the page in their language, then let the schema describe the business behind it.

A worked example

Say a shop in Leeds wants a page about walk in cuts. The post would be titled something like Walk in Haircuts in Leeds, Open Saturdays. It would open with the hours, the nearest bus stop, and whether you take cards. It would answer the questions people ask on the phone: do you need to book, how long is the wait, do you cut children's hair. The schema tool would then build the JSON-LD for that page, using the shop name, address, opening hours and phone number. If the opening hours field is empty, the tool refuses to emit the type and tells you what is missing. You paste the finished block into the page yourself.

What local intent means for a barbershop

For a barbershop, local intent is almost the whole search. Someone looking for a fade is looking for a fade within walking or driving distance, today or this week. That means the page has to carry the things a search engine uses to place a business on a map: a full address, a phone number, opening hours that match the door, and a service area that is honest. A page that says Leeds but sits in Bradford will not help anyone. The schema is how you state those facts in a form a machine can read.

Who this is not right for

This is not right for you if you want schema added to your published posts for you. The tool does not do that yet. It builds the JSON-LD and you paste it in. It is also not right if you have no website, or a site you cannot edit, because there is nowhere to put the output. And it is not right if you want a guarantee about where you will appear on Google. Nobody can give you that, and we will not pretend to.
